There are severe disruptions to train services on one of Kent's busiest lines throughout today.
All trains running to and from Charing Cross face a 5mph speed restriction in the south-east of the capital, meaning timetables are having to be significantly changed.
In the peak morning hours, trains heading to Charing Cross from Dover Priory, Ramsgate and Ashford International are being diverted to Victoria.
Meanwhile, most trains which normally run between Tunbridge Wells and Charing Cross are cancelled, and those running between Hastings and Charing Cross will make additional stops.
In off-peak hours, some trains will be cancelled, and some will be diverted to and from Cannon Street station.
During the evening peak, a significant number of trains will be cancelled to and from Charing Cross.
Those needing to use the trains are advised to "consider not travelling or to make an alternative plan, especially if travelling at peak times".
