Kent: Should drivers face roadside eye tests?

Drivers in Kent could face roadside eye tests if they are stopped by police - and have their license confiscated if they fail.
Motorists will be required to read a number plate 20 metres away as part of the initiative, which will be trialled in three parts of England this month.
