Stamps all over the White Cliffs of Dover
00:01, 10 April 2012
Immortalised in song by wartime sweetheart Dame Vera Lynn, they are one of Britain's most iconic landmarks.
Now the White Cliffs of Dover are going first class as part of a new set of Royal Mail stamps.
They are one of the landmarks to feature in the second part of an A-Z tour of the United Kingdom.
Part two - from M to Z - is launched today, with locations ranging from the ancient through to the modern.
The first class stamps of the White Cliffs of Dover go on sale this morning.
But to make a saving, collectors should snap them up before April 30 - when the price of a first class stamp will rice from 46p to 60p.
Other British landmarks to feature in the special stamps include the Old Bailey, the Victoria and Albert Museum, York Minster and London Zoo.
