The Interventional Suite at KIMS Hospital is unique. Our state-of-the-art cardiology facilities and innovative technology support a wide range of specialist services such as interventional cardiology, vascular access, interventional radiology, pain injections and recently all invasive ultrasound guided injections and biopsies.

We use a state-of-the-art radiology equipment, within an interventional lab and a modern open recovery area. Most patients are treated as day cases and are pre-assessed by the same team.

Our consultant cardiologists work alongside our award-winning dedicated cardiology nursing team who support patients from diagnosis to recovery. They also support each other and offer training as part of the team's ongoing professional development.

One of the staff at KIMS Hospital, has just completed her training contract in our Interventional Suite in interventional nursing, a new speciality for her after 25 years as a general orthopaedic nurse. She wanted the opportunity to retrain in a completely new role and to develop at KIMS Hospital.

What she loves most about her job is that she is part of her patient’s complete journey and that no two days are the same.

KIMS Hospital has opportunities within the interventional nursing team for a trainee interventional nurse and a qualified cardiac/interventional nurse to join the team.

As part of our team, you will benefit from ongoing support from the Interventional Suite Manager and colleagues with your ongoing development at KIMS Hospital.
