Stray geese were a sight to gander

FOUR goslings and their parents were rescued by a mother and son, who found them wandering around Larkfield.
Christian Harper, 19, and his mother, Elizabeth spotted the geese in Briar Close.
Together with their friend and neighbour, Iris Root, they managed to chase the errant birds into the back garden of their home in nearby Maple Close before phoning the RSPCA.
Mr Harper said: "We found the geese running around and got them in the back garden. I put down a bowl of water for them and some bread and then they rested in the garden."
He added: "There are some lakes at the bottom of New Hythe Lane, but the babies wouldn't be able to fly so they definitely had walked a long way."
