ANTI-WAR protestors from all over Kent are expected to descend on London tomorrow for a national peace demonstration.
Among them will be dozens of Kent Institute of Art and Design students from the Rochester and Canterbury campus who will climb on to a coach outside The Beacon Court Tavern, Canterbury Street, Gillingham, to make the journey to the capital.
Hundreds of coaches will be travelling from all parts of the country to Hyde Park. The Stop the War demonstration has been organised by the European Social Forum and anti-war organisations in 11 European countries in protest against George W Bush and Tony Blair’s plans to go to war with Iraq.
Similar protest demonstrations will be taking place tomorrow in other countries across Europe.
