THE British Superbike Championship roars into Brands Hatch this weekend. In one of the most open championships for years, Steve Hislop has laid down a marker for the others to shoot at, but the eight races so far this year have produced four different winners in all.
Sean Emmett, Michael Rutter, Sittingbourne's Shane Byrne, as well as Hislop, have all made it to the top of the podium.
Reigning champion, John Reynolds, has taken his time getting to grips with his all-new Suzuki, but after riding the wheels off it last time out at Snetterton, looks set to get his championship defence under way in Kent at the track where he holds the lap record.
Byrne, the 2001 privateer champion, will also be really up to win at Brands Hatch - it's the home circuit for the Kent rider.
There will be a support package of national championship racing plus off-track entertainment for the whole family.
