READERS of the Sheerness Times Guardian on the Isle of Sheppey stand a chance of winning big prizes by just buying a copy of the newspaper.

To celebrate its 150th anniversary, the paper is giving away £150 cash and other super prizes.

A number of golden tickets have been inserted in copies - with two winners already coming forward.

But the £150 top prize is still out there with just days to go until the deadline.

Editor Matt Ramsden said: "We're really surprised we haven't had more winners yet but the tickets are out there.

"All people have to do is find a ticket and a call the newsroom on 01795 580300.

It's as simple as that."
