The 19-year-old was walking through a wooded area at the end of Bishopstone Lane, Herne Bay, at about 1.30pm on Friday, July 27 when he passed the three men.
The men followed him, knocked him to the ground and sat on him - stealing a watch and baseball cap. The men then ran off.

Another was identified as a white man in his early 20s with shoulder length dark hair, of muscular build, 6ft 3in tall wearing a black tracksuit and a baby blue style T-shirt.
The final member of the group was a white 19-20 year old man; slim to medium build, 6ft tall who spoke with a local accent. He had short strawberry blonde hair and was wearing black high top style trainers. He also wore green shorts which had a white flower pattern on and a white T shirt.
