The Family director to address students

The man who convinced a family from Harbledown to be filmed for 100 days and nights for an eight-part documentary will give a guest lecture at Kent University on Tuesday.
Jonathan Smith, director of Channel 4’s The Family, which documented the trials and tribulations of the Hughes family, will address second year students from the department of electronics.
His lecture Life Behind the Lens will also be attended by film studies students.
