Here are the latest batch of criminals to face justice.

East Kent

A shoplifter has been locked up after admitting eight counts of thefts in the Dover area.

Judita Cifrova, appeared before magistrates in Folkestone on December 15, where she admitted stealing from stores.

Cifrova, 45, of East Cliff, Dover, carried out the crimes between October 9 and November 12 last year.

She stole at least £99 worth of goods from two shops in October and carried out six more thefts from shops in Dover between October 25 and November 12.

While in the dock, Cifrova also admitted failing to turn up to court on December 8.

Magistrates jailed her for 56 days.

Daniel Read, 26, appeared before magistrates in Folkestone on December 15, where he admitted drink-driving.

Read, of Elizabeth Carter Avenue, Deal, was caught driving while over the limit in his home town on November 23, last year.

When he was given a breath test, he gave a reading of 100 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35.

Magistrates banned him from the road for 36 months and fined him £150. Read was also ordered to pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs.

Scott Allan, 54, appeared before magistrates in Folkestone on December 22, where he admitted drink-driving.

Allan, of St Vincents Close, Canterbury, was caught driving while over the limit in his home town on November 28, last year.

When he was given a breath test, he gave a reading of 116 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35.

Magistrates banned him from the road for 28 months. Allan was also ordered to pay £95 surcharge and £85 costs.

A man has been jailed after carrying a knife in public.

Kenny Harmsworth, 21, appeared before magistrates in Canterbury on December 21 last year.

Harmsworth, of Walden Court, Canterbury, admitted possessing the blade in a public place.

Magistrates jailed him for four months but suspended the term for 12 months.

Harmsworth was also ordered to pay £128 surcharge and £85 costs.

A banned motorist has been jailed after getting behind the wheel again.

Matthew Audrian, 20, appeared before magistrates in Folkestone on January 7 this year, where he admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance.

Audrian, from Bournemouth Road, Folkestone, was caught on July 11 in his home town.

He got banned from the road for 28 months and fined £150.

Audrian was also ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay £95 surcharge £85 costs.

Clae Copley Marshall, 23, appeared before magistrates in Folkestone on January 12, where he admitted drink-driving.

Marshall, from Osborne Road, Ashford, was caught over the limit in his home town on December 20, last year.

When he was given a breath test, he gave a reading of 65 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35.

Marshall was banned from the road for 18 months and fined £323. Magistrates also ordered him to pay £34 surcharge and £85 costs.

Connor Crane, 28, appeared before magistrates in Margate on January 11,

Crane, from South Eastern Road, Ramsgate, was caught driving with drugs in his system in Ashford on September 6, 2020.

When stopped, he gave a reading of 215 microgrammes of drug in one litre of blood - more than four times above the legal limit of 50.

Magistrates jailed him for 16 weeks and banned him from the road for 60 months. Crane was also ordered to pay £128 surcharge.

Christian Taylor, 22, appeared before magistrates in Margate on January 11, where he admitted drink-driving.

Taylor, from Nixon Avenue, Ramsgate, was caught driving while over the limit in his home town on December 19, last year.

When he was given a breath test, he gave a reading of 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Magistrates banned Taylor from the road for 25 months. He was also ordered to carry out 100 unpaid hours within the next 12 months and pay £95 surcharge and £85 costs.

North Kent

A woman has received a restraining order after harassing and sending correspondence with fake information.

Kulbinder Shergill, 48, appeared before magistrates in Medway on December 1, last year.

Shergill, from Grange Road, Gravesend, admitted harassment and sending letters and cards conveying false information between November 13, 2019 and May 14, 2021.

Magistrates handed her a restraining order and ordered her to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

Shergill was also ordered to pay £95 surcharge and £85 costs.

Richard Humphreys, 23, appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on December 21 last year, where he admitted drink-driving.

Magistrates banned him from driving for 20 months and fined him £1920. Humphreys was also ordered to pay £190 surcharge and £85 costs.

Ash McGann, 27, appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on December 21 last year, where he admitted drink-driving.

McGann, from High Street, Rochester, was caught driving while over the limit in Sittingbourne on June 9.

When he was given a breath test, he gave a reading of 96 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Magistrates banned McGann from the road for 24 months.

A disqualified motorist has been banned from the road again after driving with drugs in his system.

Michael Sutton, 28, appeared at magistrates in Sevenoaks on December 21, where he admitted driving above the legal drug-drive limit while disqualified and without insurance.

Sutton, from Weardale Avenue, Dartford, was caught by police driving in his home town on June 17.

When stopped, he gave a reading of 6.6 microgrammes of cannabis in one litre of blood - more than three times above the legal limit of two.

Magistrates banned Sutton from the road for three years and ordered him to carry out 90 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Sutton was also ordered to pay £95 surcharge and £85 costs.

Danny Watson, 27, appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on January 13.

Watson, from Chilham Road, Gillingham, pleaded guilty to the offence on December 8.

Magistrates banned him from driving for 24 months and ordered him to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months.

Watson was also ordered to pay £90 surcharge and £680.

Sangarapillai Rajkumar, 46, appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on January 18, where he admitted drink-driving.

Rajkumar, from Winston Road, Strood was caught driving above the limit in Gravesend, on July 10 last year.

When stopped, he gave a reading of 171 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80.

Magistrates banned him from driving for 42 months and he was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Rajkumar was also ordered to pay £95 surcharge and £85 costs.

West Kent

A motorist has been disqualified from driving after getting behind the wheel while on drugs and without insurance.

Thomas White, 35, appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on December 10.

White, from Melville Road, Maidstone, admitted driving without insurance and while under the influence of drugs, and possessing cocaine in Maidstone on April 18 last year.

When stopped, he gave a reading of 800 microgrammes of benzoylecgonine in one litre of blood - 16 times above the legal limit of 50. He also had 85 microgrammes of cocaine in one litre of blood - more than eight times above the limit of 10; and had 63 microgrammes of methamphetamine in one litre of blood - more than six times above the legal limit of 10.

White was banned from the road for 20 months and was fined £120. He was also ordered to pay £60 surcharge and £85 costs.

When he was given a breath test, he gave a reading of 60 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

Magistrates banned him from driving for 18 months and fined him £537. Bhusal was also ordered to pay £53 surcharge and £85 costs.

A man has been jailed after carrying drugs and a knife in public.

Conner Mitchell, 19, pleaded guilty before magistrates in Maidstone on December 20.

Mitchell, from Lunsford Lane, Aylesford, was caught carrying a Class B drug and a knife in Maidstone on September 10.

Magistrates jailed him for 84 days but suspended the term for 12 months.

Mitchell was also ordered to pay £128 surcharge and £85 costs.

A man has been banned from driving after not giving information which could help identify a driver.

Mubarak Abdi, 30, appeared before magistrates in London on January 10.

Abdi, from High Street, Hounslow, failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver in Maidstone, on February 24.

Magistrates banned him from driving for 18 months and fined him £660. Abdi was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £66.

A man has been jailed after attacking someone and carrying a weapon in public.

Jamie Linnett, 27, appeared before magistrates in Maidstone on January 12.

Linnett, from Lower Road, Swanley, pleaded guilty to assault by beating and possessing an offensive weapon in Dartford, on November 21.

Magistrates jailed him for 180 days but suspended the term for 24 months.

Magistrates banned him from the road for 24 months and fined him £461. McQuillian was also ordered to pay £46 surcharge and £85 costs.

A woman has been ordered to carry out unpaid work after stealing £4,591 from her workplace.

Amber Sellens, 23, appeared before magistrates in Sevenoaks on January 10, where she admitted to five counts of theft.

Sellens, from New Road, Aylesford, stole £1,000 in goods in Sevenoaks on February 26. She also stole £3,591 worth of goods in Sevenoaks between March 1 and March 5.

Magistrates ordered her to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. Sellens was also ordered to pay a total compensation of £1890, £95 surcharge and £85 costs.
