Three people hurt in late night crash

Three people were injured, one seriously, in a crash in Hempstead Road, Hempstead, last night.
The accident happened at about 10.20pm close to the links roundabout at Spekes Road and involved two cars, a Citroen Saxo and a Honda Civic.
One man is in hospital after suffering serious head injuries.
The emergency services were called to the scene and police closed the road for several hours while paramedics dealt with the injured.
Firefighters from Medway fire station were also called out to the scene as petrol has spilt onto the road.
A spokesman for Medway Police said: “We got call just after 10.20pm last night to an road traffic collision involving two vehicles. “Three people were injured, two not seriously but one man suffered serious head injuries.
“His injuries are not thought to be life threatening, and he is in a serious but stable condition.”
The road was reopened at 1.30am.
