A CON man claiming to be looking for a friend stole money from a 56-year-old victim's home.
The bogus caller knocked on the door of a house in Hopewell Drive, Chatham, asking for a man named Robert.
He was invited into the home and given a glass of water. At some point, while in the home, he stole the owner’s wallet containing cash.
A spokesman for Medway Police said: “The offender is a white man with short, dark-brown hair. He was wearing a dark jacket and training shoes.”
