Truro City 2 Welling United 3

Welling's long trip to Cornwall proved fruitful as they claimed a 3-2 win at Truro City in Blue Square South on Saturday.
Goals from Andy Pugh, Loick Pires and player/manager Jamie Day (pictured) eventually proved enough to give the Wings all three points.
The visitors survived an early scare in the opening minute when Truro hit the post, but Pugh was soon on hand to put Welling ahead inside five minutes.
The ball broke to him on the edge of the area allowing him to loop a curling right-foot shot over Truro keeper Tim Sandercombe.
Veteran striker Barry Hayles levelled the scores soon after when he was left unmarked to tap in after just nine minutes.
After the break, Pugh squandered a chance to double his tally when his penalty kick was saved by Sandercombe and tipped round the post. But, from the resulting corner, Pires rose first to power in a free header and make it 2-1 after 65 minutes.
Day then gave the visitors some breathing space six minutes later with a rifling right-foot shot from 25 yards out. His low drive into the bottom corner was too good to stop.
Chris McConnell snatched a late lifeline for Truro with a minute remaining. His 20-yard shot found its way through a crowded penalty area after a free-kick was only half cleared.
The win keeps Welling third, six points behind leaders Woking, making for a happy train trip home from the West Country for Jamie Day's men.
Bromley lost out to the odd goal in three as they went down 2-1 in their Blue Square South clash at Boreham Wood.
Goals from David Bryant on the half hour and Luke Wilkinson in first half stoppage time put the home side 2-0 ahead.
Danny Waldren's 30-yard strike on 75 minutes effort gave Mark Goldberg's side a sniff of a draw, but it was not enough to complete a second-half comeback.
