Two arrested after soccer match

POLICE were called to a disturbance between a group of Margate and Doncaster football fans near the town’s seafront after Saturday’s Conference league match between the sides. A 38-year-old man from Margate and a 39-year-old man from Herne Bay were arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly during the confrontation that took place near the railway bridge at All Saints Avenue at 5.30pm.
