Two men have been cut free from a crash on the M20 near Maidstone this morning.

The pair were trapped in a red Ford Fiesta on the London-bound carriageway, between junction 7 for Vinters Park and junction 6 for Blue Bell Hill.

Fire crews were at the scene at around 9am and cut the roof off the car, which appears to have hit the central reservation.

No other vehicles were involved.

The casualties were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Queues were stretching back to junction 8 for Leeds Castle.
