RSPCA officers rounding up stray horses today came across a year-old foal with a serious leg injury.

Vet Martin Hobbs and student vet Ryan Waters treated the animal, assisted by the RSPCA. The incident happened in a field at Pells Lane, West Kingsdown, near Dartford. The foal was taken away for further treatment.
