Thanet council spends nearly £2m on clean-up

Thanet council has spent nearly £2m on street cleaning, new figures reveal.
More than 3,000 tonnes of waste were collected in the district last year.
The council says this is due to a huge increase in visitors to Kent's coastal towns:
