Drivers are being warned of hazardous conditions as another weather warning has been issued for ice.
The Met Office says temperatures are set to fall sharply from 4pm, and go as low as -5C overnight, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries due to dangerous conditions on roads and pavements - particularly where snow is already lying.
The yellow weather warning is in place until 11am tomorrow.
The Met Office says: "After dark, temperatures will fall rapidly and untreated wet surfaces, particularly those where snow has partly melted and then refreezes, will become very icy."
It comes after a sudden snowfall during rush-hour yesterday caused chaos across the county, with some drivers stranded for five hours after Blue Bell Hill and Detling Hill were shut.
Questions have been asked by about why there was so much disruption.
