Tom Whitnell has been given until the end of this weekend to decide his Welling future.
Wings boss Jamie Day has given striker Whitnell one last chance to stay at Park View Road after the pair failed to agree terms on a new deal at the end of the season.
"I've given him until Sunday with the same offer that we made him before," said Day.
"I wasn't happy with what was said (on the internet) but the offer is there.
"If he doesn't take it then we'll say that's it - done and dusted."
Whitnell scored 15 goals for Welling last season in his first campaign at Blue Square South level.
Day is not expecting a deal with Maidstone's Nathan Paul to be completed after failing to agree terms but he has invited Herne Bay's Danny Lawrence to join the team in pre-season training.
Loui Fazackerley is expected to sign his deal on Friday after agreeing to stay with Welling.
Should Whitnell stay with the Wings? Should Welling look elsewhere? Have your say below.
