Welling United boss Jamie Day not interested in vacant manager's job at Dover Athletic
12:11, 26 September 2011
Welling player/boss Jamie Day has distanced himself from the vacant Dover post.
Day, who played for Whites between 2001 and 2004, has been linked with the Crabble managerial post previously.
But he believes that Dover have already got their man - and he is not in the frame.
"I've not been offered anything or talked to anyone but I'm sure that Dover know who they want," said Day (pictured).
"Dover may be seen as a bigger club than Welling but it would be pointless moving there now and having to start all over again from scratch.
"I'm more than happy at Welling, and how we are doing in the league, so there is no reason to think about anything else."
