Wembley trip still on the cards for Gillingham defender Joe Martin

Gillingham's promotion hopes may have ended but left-back Joe Martin is still hoping to be making a Wembley play-off trip this month.
His older brother David has been an ever-present in goal for MK Dons this season as they have booked themselves a League 1 play-off spot and a chance of making it into the Championship.
Joe (pictured) said: "He has done well this year and played in every game. Hopefully, they will do well and it would be nice to have at least one family member getting promoted."
His own hopes of promotion were ended as the Gills failed to get the win they needed at Northampton last weekend.
"It was a disappointing result," said the former England youth international. "We had a few opportunities, like we have had in recent weeks but we just couldn’t put the ball in the net.
"I thought we had done enough because the fans were cheering but the gaffer said that Crewe had scored a late equaliser at Torquay and it was a bit of a downer."
This season has been Martin’s first full campaign at the Gills but it hasn’t always gone to plan – with three red cards along the way.
"I barely picked up a booking before I came to Gillingham and they’ve just been silly bookings," he said.
"A few of them were poor decisions from referees but some I have to take on the chin and use it as experience."
