The best places to sledge in the snow in Kent

The white stuff has fallen and the kids are off school.

That means the only thing left to do is find a decent hill to go sledging on.

Here's our list of the best places to enjoy the snow.

1) Husheath Hill

Located between Marden and Staplehurst this area has plenty of space for you to enjoy the winter weather with the children.

2) Hucking, North Downs

This is perfect for those who are off school. The land is between Maidstone and Sittingbourne.

3) The Glen

In Minster on the Isle of Sheppey this hill is one of the steepest on the Island. You'll be able to get a decent view as well as enjoy the white stuff.

4) Loose Valley

This is one of Maidstone's hidden gems in the snow.

5) Jackson's Field

We're assured this field in Rochester will give you ample amounts of space to get that sledge prepped and ready to slide.

6) Backfields

The Esplanade has plenty of space for the kids to enjoy the snow.

7) Darland Banks

This is one of the hotspots for people in Medway when there's a downpour of the white stuff. Make sure you get over to the Gillingham hotspot.

8) Whitfield Hill

The snow doesn't have to be all doom and gloom. Whitfield Hill in Whitfield has plenty of open space for your youngsters to blow off some steam.
