Kent: Where to watch the World Cup

Things are hotting up for England as the World Cup continues, with temperatures in Kent set to soar ahead of tonight's match.

Met Office experts have predicted another warm day with plenty of sunshine as the home side take on Belgium in Russia.

Despite things looking slightly overcast this morning, any grey clouds are set to disappear before the 7pm kick-off.

Here's our pick of places to enjoy the games in Kent...

If you're looking to enjoy both the warm weather and the football, why not watch the match on a large cinema screen by the sea?

The recently installed, state-of-the-art LED panel screen measures in at 7.5 metres by 4 metres, and will be showing every game throughout the World Cup.

Popular for its food, drink and entertainment, the venue has promised a family friendly environment which will bring the community together.

Formerly the Hooden on the Hill, this Grade II listed smokehouse was restored and re-named after it was gutted by fire in 2016.

The popular pub is screening all World Cup matches outdoors and garden bar, the Hooden Shack, is also open during England games.

Margate's seaside amusement park will show the 2018 World Cup final on the site's large outdoor screen.

Football fans can take in the action while enjoying the sunshine with family and friends.

For those determined to catch the football without venturing into the sunshine, Bluewater's Showcase Cinemas are showing all World Cup games, free of charge.

Matches will be screened in HD and surround sound, and the cinema has also commissioned a life-size World Cup trophy, made entirely out of popcorn.

The impressive artwork, created by food artist Prudence Staite, took more than 50 hours to create and contains more than 2,000 pieces of popcorn.

The Source Bar, Maidstone

Sun worshippers can catch the match at Maidstone's Source Bar, which is showing all England games on a huge outdoor screen.

Doors open at 5pm, and the venue will offer guests special deals on drinks alongside an outdoor barbecue.

Fans looking for a slightly louder experience can visit Casino Rooms nightclub, which is screening every England match.

The game will be available on HD screens around the bar, with DJs on hand to blast Britain's favourite football anthems.

Situated at the top of Broadstairs High Street, Cramptons is a long-standing favourite with east Kent's sports fans.

The bar, which couples as a diner, is showing all World Cup games on screens inside and outside.
