Invicta Dynamos’ long winning run was halted on Sunday as they were held to a draw at home by Chelmsford Cheftains.
The Mos drew the ENIHL Division 1 South match 2-2 at the Gillingham Ice Bowl thanks to a last period goal from Peter Vaisanen (pictured).
Sunday’s draw ended a run of seven straight wins, with their last victory being a 4-3 win at Chelmsford.
It was another close game against Chelmsford and the visitors took the lead.
The Cheftains, who sat third in the table before the fixture, doubled their tally through Darren Brown and looked to be opening up the title race.
The Mos halved the deficit just before the break though through Nolan Boike with a powerplay strike.
Halfway through the final session Vaisanen smashed home to make it 2-2 and earn a point for the Mos.
