Woman dies after crash on A20

A 41-year-old woman has died in hospital five days after being injured in a crash on the A20 near Dover.
The woman, from Germany, was a passenger in a Volkswagen Golf when it crashed with a white Ford Transit van at 7.30am last Friday on the coastbound carriageway at Aycliffe.
She died yesterday in the Royal London Hospital. Three other people in the car had minor injuries.
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Unit is asking for anyone with information to contact officers on 01622 798538.
A 48-year-old man from Southampton arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving has been released on bail until October 12.
