Woman punched twice in face by bag snatcher

A WOMAN was attacked and had her handbag stolen when she was confronted by a man in an alleyway in his Kent town.
The victim was walking home from the post office when the robbery happened between West Dumpton Lane and Sandwood Road, Ramsgate.
The offender stepped out of the alleyway. grabbed her bag and punched her twice in the face.
After the attack, he ran off down the alley towards Sandwood Road.
The bag contained £80, her birth certificate, bank card and other personal possessions.
The man is described as white, aged between 25 and 30, 6ft tall, of slim build, with short hair and an unshaven face.
He was wearing dark-blue, baggy jeans, a navy blue hooded top and trainers.
