Southeastern have said they do expect disruption to rail services, especially in coastal areas.

To ensure safety, Network Rail are imposing a speed restriction on some routes from 9am.

The restrictions will have the greatest effect on Southeastern services in Kent and East Sussex, and there will be delays to many trains, with mainline and Highspeed services most affected.

To provide a more reliable service, the frequency of trains will be reduced on some routes and stopping patterns will be changed on others.

The detail of these timetable changes will be available on the Southeastern journey planner.
