A yellow weather warning has been issued for Kent, with heavy rain and flooding expected to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend.
The alert, issued by the Met Office, will be in place across the county between 6am and 1pm tomorrow (Saturday, August 24).
Spray and flooding on roads is likely to make journey times longer.
Bus and train services are also expected to be affected, causing travel disruptions.
There is a small chance of flooding of a few homes and businesses, as well as interruption to power supplies and other services.
People are being asked to check if their property could be at risk and consider preparing a plan and an emergency flood kit, and to check road conditions if driving.
They are also being encouraged to gather torches, battery packs and other essentials in case of a power outage.
Storm Lillian hit the country yesterday, with heavy rain and strong winds causing travel disruption, flooding, power cuts and dangerous conditions near coastal areas in Northern England and Scotland.
A flood warning was also issued last night across a stretch of Kent’s coastline.
Areas along the north Kent coast from Kemsley, near Sittingbourne, to Seasalter near Whitstable were affected.
