Young man robbed of jewellery and cash

DETECTIVES are searching for a robber who threatened a man in the street and stole cash and jewellery from him.
The 21-year-old victim was walking along New Road, Chatham, when he was approached by the robber who demanded money. He also said he wanted rings the victim was wearing.
After handing over the rings and the cash, the robber calmly walked away down Hammond Hill.
A Medway Police spokesman said: “The offender is aged between 25 and 30, about 5ft 10in, of slim build, pale complexion and short blond hair.
"He was clean shaven and wearing cream jeans and a navy blue tracksuit top which had 'Kickers' etched on the front of the chest in white writing.”
