All set to crown Lydden's king of speed

THE South East Motor Sport Enthusiasts Club will be promoting the King of the Kentish Mile Race Meeting at Lydden on Sunday. The King of the Kentish Mile trophy and a £500 first prize will go to the winner of the SEMSEC Single Seater Challenge Race which is open to single seaters up to 2000cc.
There is also a similar competition for Formula Ford 1600 competitors for the Lord of the Hill trophy and a possible £500 first prize.
In addition to these single seater races the meeting will feature all the five Lydden based race championships including the Credit Professionals Sports Car Championship, Formula One Motorsport Saloon Car Championship. Astratech Single Seater Championship. TWMC Silhouette, Saloon and Sports Championship and the John Taylor Handicap Championship.
The popular South East Sports and Saloon Challenge is also returning to Lydden for this meeting, having spent the two previous weekends featuring in meetings at Brands Hatch and Silverstone.
The action starts from 12.30pm and admission is £6 for adults with accompanied children under-14 free. There is also free parking and free admission to the paddock.
