Boss running out of patience

GILLINGHAM manager Mark Stimson admitted that one or two of the team that lost 3-0 against Crewe have sealed their exit from the squad.
“Maybe one or two have put the final nail in the coffin to say they’re not up for the challenge,” he said.
“In the second half we were 1-0 down. The adrenalin must have been pumping. Near enough all of the supporters were off their feet making noise. If you can’t run around then? It wasn’t the case for some and one or two probably won’t get another chance.
“We’ve given players an opportunity. I don’t like to keep chopping and changing but we’ve got to, because if people can’t get up for it and physically get around and want to put themselves about, then there has got to be something wrong.
“Some didn’t give 110 per cent. They know who they are, I don’t have to name names because it’s a team game and a collective thing.”
