Invicta Dynamos thrashed reigning league champions Chelmsford Chieftains on Sunday night.
For the third week running the Mos claimed maximum points as they stretched their winning streak to six games.
The game in Essex ended in a 6-1 win for the Dynamos, as they met for a Southern Cup tie.
Sunday’s game came hot on the heels of Mos’ exciting 7-6 NIHL South Division 1 victory over Solent & Gosport.
Their league win lifted Kevin Parrish's side up to second in the league, behind Chelmsford, with a game in hand.
Saturday’s game saw Dan Fudger return to the, following injury, and he struck the opening goal of the game.
Solent levelled by the end of the first and in the second period the teams traded goals again, with Juraj Huska scoring for the hosts before the visitors made it 2-2.
Callum Fowler and Huska gave the Mos some daylight but Solent were never out of the game. A Shaun Wild goal gave the Mos a 5-3 lead going into the final session.
Fowler made it 6-3 but Solent hit back with a trio of their own efforts to level the match, only for Arran Strawson to grab the winner in the dying stages of the game.
The Mos travelled to Essex for what on paper was a tougher test but they never looked back after Hammond and Huska struck early goals.
Harrison Lillis, Andy Smith and Klima also got on the scoresheet to put Mos 5-0 up by the end of the second period. Fowler added the sixth and only a late Chelmsford effort denied goalie Chris Douglas from a shut-out.
