Kent Cricket chief executive Jamie Clifford says any decision on the captaincy will be taken after the end of the season

Kent Cricket chief executive Jamie Clifford has confirmed the decision about whether Rob Key will continue as skipper in 2015 won't be made until after the end of the season.
He did, however, say that he expects Key’s predecessor James Tredwell to be at the club next summer, despite being linked with a move to Sussex, where he spent part of this season on loan.
Mr Clifford said: “Captaincy is an annual appointment made after the season. The committee haven’t got to the point of reviewing how this year has gone and sitting down and working out what we’re going to do next year, that’s still to come.”
He added: “There is a lot of speculation about James Tredwell but he’s under contract next year and the club see him as part of our long-term plans. It’s all part of the fun of the end of the season.”
