Cox writes himself into TT history books

Sidecar racer Mark Cox joined an illustrious list of TT winners after bagging a double-victory at the world famous event.
Rochester’s Cox rode as passenger for driver Nick Crowe at the Isle of Man’s challenging 37 and three-quarter mile road circuit and topped a 13-year-race career with the pair’s double win.
“It was awesome and I’ve got my name down in history now,” said Cox.
“This is the highlight of my career and it’s like winning the world championship, it’s been absolutely fantastic.
“It’s a dream and to win on the Isle of Man is not something to happen to everyone. In sidecars there have only been about five winners in 30 years.
“We got to lift a trophy that’s valued at £2 million pounds but unfortunately we can’t keep that!”
