GILLS captain Andrew Crofts is looking forward to his side's FA Cup first round trip to Barnet.
The match is due to take place on November 10 at Underhill and will see Crofts go head-to-head with one of his friends.
"I’m quite happy about the draw," he said. "One of my close mates Adam Birchall is playing for them and so I’ll be looking forward to it. Hopefully we can go there and win the game and I can give him a bit of stick."
Gillingham signed Barry Cogan and Simon King from Barnet in the summer, while former Gills favourite Andy Hessenthaler was also playing for them last season.
Should Iffy Onuora still be in charge in a fortnight’s time, he knows just the man to call upon for advice.
"I might have to have a chat with Mr Hessenthaler for a bit of inside knowledge," said Onuora. "Barnet is one of those almost quintessential giant-killing grounds, with a big slope, and I believe they’re doing quite well this season.
"I know a little about them. They’ve got one or two good players who have been spoken of highly and we certainly won’t underestimate them."
Barnet are currently fifth in League 2 and have lost just once at home all season.
