Tom Dallas to face Tomas Mrazek at York Hall on return to the ring

Tom Dallas will make his long-awaited return to the boxing ring against the Czech Republic’s Tomas Mrazek next Saturday.
Dallas is heading back to York Hall in London, the scene of his last competitive appearance. He lost there in the Prizefighter semi-finals last June.
The 27-year-old Chatham heavyweight (pictured) has been knocked out in three of his last four bouts but should record his 16th professional win in his comeback fight.
Mrazek, 32, has lost 41 of his 54 bouts but he is known for his durability. He lasted the distance against Tyson Fury in 2009 and went the full six rounds with Tyson’s cousin Hughie Fury last month.
Dallas’ promoter Dean Sutcliffe said: “He’s one of the toughest guys around at the moment.
“His record doesn’t look good but all the people he’s fought, he’s extended. It’ll be good to give Tom some rounds.
“Tom’s been out for a year so this is a good opponent for him. If Tom could stop him, it would send out a statement to say he’s back on the scene.
“He’ll look to take Tom the distance. It would be great if Tom could stop him, where none of the other guys could.”
