Defender Sodje quits Gills

Efe Sodje has agreed a deal with Gillingham to terminate his contract at the club.
The 35-year-old defender has been in negotiations with the Gills over cancelling his contract since the end of the season, after ended the previous campaign on loan with League 2 side Bury.
Sodje made 16 appearances for the Gills last season but was surplus to requirements following Mark Stimson’s arrival as manager.
The Nigerian follows Aaron Brown out of Gillingham. Stimson said: “It’s good that Efe and Aaron have resolved their situations and I wish them all the best for the future.”
