Two Kent sports stars have been chosen to represent England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer.
Bowler Sian Gordon - whose married name is Honnor - and weightlifter Jack Oliver will both attend their second Games after making their debuts in Delhi four years ago.
Honnor, 26, from Whitstable, skippered the England side to bronze in the women's triples alongside Jamie-lea Winch and Sandra Hazell, from Sheppey, at Delhi 2010, beating the host nation in the 3rd/4th play-off.
The former Simon Langton Girls Grammar School member began bowling at Oyster IBC in Whitstable and also represented Milton Regis and Swale BC.
Honnor - now based in Worthing - will also represent England in the Fours competition at Glasgow. The Games run from July 23 to August 3.
Bexleyheath ace Oliver, 23, has been selected for the weightlifting team.
Sidcup-born Oliver, who finished 10th in the 77kg category at the London 2012 Olympic Games - the best result of any TeamGB lifter at the Games - will compete in the same weight class again, having set a new British record on his way to becoming national champion in Coventry last month.
The Europa Gym, Erith, member - now based in Leeds - was Commonwealth junior champion in 2011, having finished eighth in the senior games in Delhi the previous year.
