SWINDON Lynx are the visitors to Gillingham Ice Bowl on Sunday in a make or break play-off game both they and the Dynamos need to win.
The Lynx won their opening games away at Romford Raiders and at home to the Dynamos but Romford blew the group wide open by going to the Link Centre last weekend and beating them 9-4.
Swindon must have been shocked at the Raiders commitment and work rate after the dismal performance in the first game between the two, which Swindon won 5-2.
In a tight group with all three teams having tasted defeat the play-offs are finely balanced and the next two weeks promise to be both exciting and nail-biting. Dynamos player manager Andy Hannah said: "We know what we have to do and that's win. If we beat them by more than two goals there's no way they can make the finals.
"If we lose we're out and Swindon go through, so this game is big. If we can play hockey like we know we can we're confident it'll be us who progress. Everyone's fit and we will be going all out for a victory that keeps that treble dream the team hankers for alive."
