INVICTA Dynamos’ Canadian forward Duane Ward has signed for another season. An influential part of last season’s double-winning side, Ward's year ended in heartache when he broke his leg in the first game of the cup final against Romford.
But the 26-year-old former Chelmsford Chieftain has been busy getting himself fit over the summer. Dynamos director Sean Clement said: “Duane added considerable strength and fire power to our offence last season scoring 37 times in 42 games.
“We're all looking forward to seeing him play in Dynamos colours again. His talent and attitude has made him a crowd favourite.”
The Dynamos start the league campaign with a home fixture against new boys Milton Keynes Lightning on September 1. It promises to be a tough opener with former Mos forward Mikko Skinnari up against his old team and in no doubt determined mood.
