Gills midfielder targets skipper role

ANDREW CROFTS is hoping that international captaincy will lead him to taking over the armband at Gillingham in the near future.
The Wales midfielder skippered the under-21s to a 5-1 win over Estonia last month – the second time he had captained the side – before making two appearances for the senior team.
And the 22-year-old has spoken of his desire to one day captain his home-town club, sooner rather than later.
