GILLINGHAM chairman Paul Scally is preparing to take his plans for a new stadium to the next level.
With the management situation now resolved Mr Scally can focus his energy back into his dream of delivering a new football arena for his club.
A feasibility study into the club's preferred site has been drawn-up, with the financial backing of the council.
Mr Scally, said: "The feasibility study is in now. I've met with the council again and we're pushing ahead.
"Early indications are excellent. There are some amendments that need to be made but generally speaking it is very positive and ticks all the right boxes in all the right areas.
"The next step is I take it to the political forum and to the land-owners and we determine site, determine product and determine how we go forward.
"The council are 150 per cent behind us and I'm confident about sorting it out as quickly as I possibly can."
The football club have looked at a number of sites in and around Medway. Chatham Docks is understood to be the number one choice.
