Gills talisman completes Wolves move
09:38, 20 June 2007
GILLINGHAM'S Matt Jarvis has joined Championship side Wolves on a two-year contract.
The winger had been talking to a number of clubs and an undisclosed fee has been agreed by the two teams.
Jarvis began his career at Priestfield and went onto make over 100 appearances for the club.
Last season the club turned down approaches from Stoke and Plymouth, while the player's agent snubbed the advances of Nottingham Forest.
The 21-year-old said: "I'm really delighted, this is a fantastic move for me. It wasn't very long ago that I first heard about it but I'm really glad that it's happened."
