Hearn: We must do better
00:00, 06 September 2001
CHATAHAM Town manager Steve Hearn says he's hoping for a marked improvement when his side travels to face Moneyfields for their FA Cup preliminary round replay tonight.
Hearn was disappointed with the way his team acquitted themselves in the first game at Maidstone Road and is looking for better things this evening.
He said: "We looked at Saturday's game and they have one player who pulls the strings in midfield so we'll be looking to close him down tonight.
"We know what they are all about but we didn't play anywhere near as we can and, to be honest, we're a good side away from home."
Phil Miles is still missing from the side after suffering a nasty reaction to a back injury.
The injury caused a blood clot in his knee, which has kept him in hospital for the best part of a week on a drip.
Hearn himself is also missing through suspension held over from last season.
