GILLLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson can now start preparations for another season in League 1 after Saturday's victory at Chesterfield guaranteed his side's safety.
Jepson can begin to look at his squad and decide who goes and who stays in the summer - and which players to target.
He said: "Myself and Mick Docherty will have a sit down and we'll have a chat. It's the right time to do it now we know where we are.
"We've got things in place and we know the players we want. It's just a case of people going out and getting them for us, and then we'll be okay."
Ten players are out of contract in the summer. One of them, Matt Jarvis, will definitely be leaving the club.
