Keeper crisis for Gillingham

GILLINGHAM are facing a goalkeeper crisis ahead of Saturday’s match against Port Vale.
The Gills' only fit keeper Romain Larrieu has been called back from his loan spell by Plymouth Argyle.
That leaves Gillingham manager Ronnie Jepson facing a race against time to find a suitable replacement, as the club’s only other permanent keeper Kelvin Jack is currently injured.
Trinidad keeper Jack has been plagued by injuries all season and has missed the last two matches with a knee injury.
Frenchman Larrieu made 14 appearances for Gillingham and kept five clean sheets during an impressive spell at Priestfield.
He himself was playing with an injury after tearing a tendon in his hand. Jack’s problems with injury have restricted him to just 11 games after he arrived in the summer.
