Kent Cricket League, Premier Division week seven round-up with wins for Minster, Lordswood, Blackheath, Sandwich Town and Hayes

Premier Division leaders Minster won a tense match against Tunbridge Wells on Saturday.
The league’s pace-setters batted first and reached a total of 236-8 off 50 overs.
Hosts Tunbridge Wells got agonisingly close in pursuit, losing by just two runs, all out for 234 with a ball remaining.
Minster captain David Masters (40) and Dan Stickels (56) put on 109 for the first wicket while James Thompson (41) was the best of the rest.
Wells’ Sahil Shah was stopped in his tracks on 63, caught and bowled by David Masters, while Sam Smith added 56. Daniel Masters picked up 4-40.
A handful of teams are chasing Minster, including defending champions Lordswood, who occupy second spot, 23 points adrift of the leaders.
Lords beat Canterbury by four wickets after chasing down 153.
Captain Calum MacLeod led the way for Lordswood with 70 off 35 balls, including 11 fours and three sixes.
St Lawrence & Highland Court are equal on points to Lordswood but lost against Hayes by 48 runs.
Chasing a target of 292 from 45 overs, St Lawrence were 243 all out.
Hayes’ openers had set them up well with Gareth Severin (113) hitting a ton and Finnan Bryan (53) a half-century in their 152-run partnership.
Alex Blake chipped in with 46 off 23 balls and Miguel Barbosa blasted 30 off 19.
Sandwich Town are off the bottom of the table following a big win over Bickley Park.
Batting first at The Butts, they posted 279-8 off 50 overs before bowling the visitors out for 139.
Middle-order batter Zack Fagg hit 94 runs off 75 balls while Ryan Davies fired 48.
Ben Smith picked up 3-39 as Fagg helped see off the lower order with three wickets himself.
Blackheath were winners at Manor Way, beating hosts Bexley by 34 runs. They successfully defended 157.
Top scorer for Blackheath was Matthew Golding (53) and with the ball Riley Ayre’s five-wicket haul helped ensure Bexley were unable to get near their target.
