The Kent FA said “since the start of the partnership, The Merit Group’s passion and enthusiasm for the beautiful game have shone through, and we feel very privileged to continue this exciting partnership.

“Their fantastic family ethos running through the heart of the business cements them as a fantastic partner for Kent football.”

Mr Newton said: “It has been a pleasure working with the Kent FA to support all the youth teams competing last season and to be a part of this exciting process.

“We are looking forward to watching them continue to build and grow next season.”
