PAUL Wiffen will defend his English Featherweight title on Sunday in an action-packed night of kickboxing at Rochester's Casino Rooms. Wiffen, from the Medway Blackbelt Kickboxing Academy, takes on Glen Moran from Great Yarmouth on a big night for local fighters.
Gavin Hughes, from Mensah's Gym in Gillingham, fights Dave Misteranu, from East Grinstead, for the vacant Southern Area middleweight title. Chris Butcher (Mensah) takes on Rufus Opeada (Brixton) for the vacant light-heavyweight title and Nathan Barden (Medway) fights Steve Smith (Tottenham) in what should prove to be a highly charged needle match.
Local fighters Jim Bennett and Steve Gray, both Medway, will also both be appearing. For tickets call the Casino Rooms box office 01634 832888 or Medway Blackbelt Kickboxing Academy on 07973 211457.
